How to stop a computer on my home network to access the Internet, but you can access other computers on the LAN?
I am using Windows to share files and want to stop a computer on my LAN to access whatever, but other computers on my LAN, I do not want to be able to access the Internet. Can anyone recommend how proceeding? I wish that something is configured in Windows itself, since I do not want all the partitions on the computer not to access the Internet. Only one of them.
In response has been said, you can configure a router firewall rule to block the team to go to the Internet. If the router does not have this feature, you can configure this computer with data DNS false or fictitious addresses. Of course, I suggest using private IP addresses for that. You can log on the computer as an administrator to make these changes, then You may have a normal user account, and even if they knew what was happening, they could not make changes because it is only one user account. This computer would able to see the network of Windows, because Windows uses NetBIOS for it.
